Background: Nutritional problems are health problems that are still a very important concern in various countries, including Indonesia. Lack of knowledge of mothers about nutrition, it will reduce the information that mothers have, this is the cause of nutritional problems. Based on the results of monitoring the nutritional status of children under five, it was in Lebak Wangi Village with the highest level of nutritional problems in the East Sepatan District in 2022. The purpose: of this study was to determine the relationship between mother's knowledge about nutrition and the nutritional status of children under five in Lebak Wangi Village, East Sepatan District. Research Method: This research uses correlational descriptive with cross sectional approach. The sample of this research is 100 respondents. Samples were taken by purposive sampling technique. Data were obtained by filling out a questionnaire by each research respondent. Research Instruments: this is using a questionnaire. This study uses univariate and bivariate analysis using the chi square test resulting in a p value of 0.027 (p < 0.05), it is stated that there is a relationship between mother's knowledge about nutrition and the nutritional status of children under five in Lebak Wangi Village, East Sepatan District. Conclusion: this study is a relationship between maternal knowledge about nutrition and the nutritional status of children under five in Lebak Wangi Village, East Sepatan District.
